The company, based in Spain, is engaged in the manufacture, processing, distribution, importation, and exportation of meat and by-products. Established in April 1975, it offers cooked hams, cooked shoulders, poultry, cooked and dried sausages, artisanal dried sausages, cured boneless ham tradition, serrana, cured serrano ham, Iberian hams, Iberian dried sausages, cold meat platters, bacon and chorizo, and salt free products such as salt-free turkey breast, salt-free cooked ham and salt-free top dog. In addition, the company offers bacon strips and parma ham dices, and a new range of sandwiches under the brand name Argal. It has a registered business headquarters located Miralcamp, Lerida Province in Spain. The company's production and offices in Spains are located in Fregenal de la Sierra (Badajoz); Miralcamp (Lleida); and in Lumbier (Navarra). It also has a sales network located in Bergondo (A Coruña); Siero (Asturias); Basauri (Vizcaya); Algete (Madrid); Zaragoza; Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona); Dos Hermanas - Sevilla; La Pobla de Vallbona (Valencia); and Marratxí (Mallorca). In addition, the company has subsidiaries in Germany and France, to focus marketing in these two European countries with the biggest consumer markets with a taste for Spanish cold meat products. The company's production plants are all equipped with the latest technological systems for making meat-based products, which are certified by AENOR (the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification) as complying with the ISO-9001:2000 standards and are endorsed by the EEC. Moreover, the company has also implemented the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system regarding risk analysis and is one of the first companies in Spain to run a factory certified by the BRC (British Retail Consortium), from which it has received Higher Level accreditation.
